On Friday 08th December 2017, Pierre Hermé and L'Occitane opened the doors of their new concept-store "86Champs" installed, as its name indicates at 86 avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris.

This new boutique was designed by the architect Laura Gonzalez (Pravda Arkitect) who wanted to showcase French craftsmanship and savoir-faire. She has asked us to custom-make a special sink carved in French natural stone : the Limeyrat stone, a beautiful limestone of ocher and brown tones extracted in the Dordogne.

The main stone forming this beautiful sink is a monolith stone of 2.2 meters long by more than 80 centimeters wide and 25 centimeters high ! This massive stone has been cut and hollowed to become this beautiful element ! This gigantic basin rests on a pair of rounded jambs each formed of 2 semicircles.

A real master stone cutter's work !
